Teledirect – Asia-Pacific’s Most Awarded Outsourced Contact Centre

On the 18th of September, Teledirect won eight awards and two industry excellence recognitions at the CCAS International Contact Centre Awards just weeks after being named Google’s Best Outsourced Call Centre in Asia-Pacific. In its 15th year, the CCAS Awards were held in conjunction with the 8th Asia Pacific Contact Centre Association Leaders (APCCAL) Expo and the two-day CCAS Regional Contact Centre Symposium at Resorts World in Sentosa, Singapore.

In 2014 Teledirect won 23 Awards at the CCAM Awards including the coveted “Best of the Best Award” – beating over 100 other nominees for the same award. This year both Teledirect Singapore and Teledirect Malaysia were recognized by APCCAL for their excellent performance in the industry. Receiving the award for Teledirect Singapore was CEO Laurent Junique and Country Director Angie Tay. For Teledirect Malaysia was Country Director Byron Fernandez and Client Services Director En. Khirul Nizam, who has spent over 13 years with the company and manages a team of over 300 employees.


The Best Effective Technology Contact Centre

The same night Teledirect also took home four gold awards, two silver awards and two bronze awards. The Best Outsourced Contact Centre (GOLD) for Project ACRA was awarded to Wymen Wong; the Best Contact Centre Manager of the Year (GOLD) was awarded to Isaac Chuah; the Best Customer Service Professional of the Year (GOLD) was awarded to Rubika Hemamalani Sashikumar; the Best Human Resource Support Specialist (GOLD) was awarded to Jo Eng; two Best Contact Centre Trainer of the Year (SILVER) which were awarded to Janet Loh and Han Ngee Juan; the Best Outsourced Programme Contact Centre (BRONZE) for Project Asurion was awarded to Isaac Chuah; and the Best Contact Centre Team Leader of the Year (BRONZE) which was awarded to Khairul Nord.

Teledirect CEO, Laurent Junique congratulated the winners and expressed his pride over their achievements, the hard work and commitment they’ve put in, “Hard work does pay off and it is my pleasure to be among Champions. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening and I stand proud in a room filled with industry peers, potential clients and suppliers. Congratulations!”

To date, Teledirect now has 83 regional and international industry recognitions of which the ‘Best Large Outsourcer in Asia-Pacific 2014 Gold Award from Contact Centre World’ is one of Asia-Pacific’s most prestigious.
