CEO’s New Year Message

Happy New Year to everyone at Teledirect!

I hope you celebrated the beginning of 2017 in good spirits with family and cherished friends.

2016 was a phenomenal year for Teledirect. We saw our efforts and teamwork result in the achievement of many of the milestones that have poised us for the future.

Embracing New Technologies – Last year we invested heavily in analytics training to improve the accuracy and validity of information across Teledirect. As 2017 begins, the versatility of our in-house predictive analytics is enabling us to deliver a wide variety of analytical functionalities we can leverage for our clients.

Training Exceptional Talent – As one of the region’s most trusted partners in outsourced contact centre services, we continue to provide world-class support to global brands. One of the ways we do this is through exceptional talent. Last year Teledirect Singapore became an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) accredited by Skills Future Singapore and we are now able to provide better career acceleration through Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) training and assessments for all staff.

Growing Across Asia – Taking another step towards delivering great customer experience and in support of Teledirect’s ongoing expansion across Asia, we launched a new 150 seat contact centre at Viva Business Park, Singapore and renovated our main site. Across the border in Malaysia, we officially opened our third state-of-the-art facility within an MSC status building in KL Sentral. This year Teledirect Japan and Teledirect China will be the newest additions to our growing family.

Winning Industry Recognition – We have received over 90 regional and international awards,14 of them last year. The Contact Center World named us as Singapore’s Industry Champion for being instrumental in helping to shape and develop the industry. We were also awarded the Human Resource Excellence Awards’ silver medal for ‘Excellence in HR Strategic Planning’ and we could not be more proud to be the first contact centre to receive this honour.

Much of the credit for our success is due to you, the dedicated employees of Teledirect. I would like to thank each and every one of you for your hard work, for your passion, for making our clients happy and the role you played in our success.

I can’t forget to thank our valued clients and partners for trusting us to nurture their varied brand experiences across the airline, advertising, financial services, hospitality, automotive, technology and many other industries.

These achievements confirm our progress as we strengthen Teledirect and expand capabilities across the region. We must continue to strive for excellence as we move forward and this is only possible with your support.

By working together and staying focussed on our goals – being a global player in the outsourced contact centre industry, I am confident we will reach even greater heights this year as we take Teledirect into 2017.
